About The Position

We are seeking a Lead Installer / Programmer for a well-established luxury smart home technology company based in Rye Brook, NY, serving high-end residential clients throughout Westchester County. The company has been in business for more than 25 years and is entering a significant growth phase. It describes its culture as close-knit, people-first, transparent, and direct. The role leads by example on job sites, guides newer team members, ensures quality installations from rough-in through completion, and takes responsibility for programming residential smart home and home automation projects. The Lead Installer / Programmer works hands-on with the team, including wiring racks and building out systems, and communicates professionally with high-end clients. The position is in person and pays $35 to $45 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

Solid technical experience installing and programming residential smart home and home automation systems.
Ability to lead by example on the job site and guide newer team members.
Ability to handle all programming responsibilities on a project.
Clean, professional presentation and ability to communicate confidently with high-end clientele.
Collaborative spirit and willingness to pitch in wherever the team needs it.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Control4 is strongly preferred.
Experience with Lutron or other major home automation platforms is valued.

Responsibilities
