About The Position

This is a lead teaching role at a child care center focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports children’s development, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with families. The role also includes mentoring fellow teachers and engaging in activities with children indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activities with children indoors and outdoors.
