The Gardner School is seeking passionate and energetic Lead Infant & Four's Teachers for its Louisville, KY location. Requirements
- Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
- Associate's degree or CDA required.
- Meets all Kentucky state licensing requirements for early childhood staff.
- Reliable and professional with consistent attendance.
- Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Maintains composure and professionalism when addressing stressful situations or unexpected challenges.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to ensure child safety, facilitate programs, and respond to emergencies.
- Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs and perform other caregiving duties.
- Remains alert and engaged while supervising children at all times.
- Meets all background check and fingerprinting requirements per Kentucky state licensing regulations.
- Completes required pre-service, onboarding, and annual training hours.
- Adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to The Gardner School’s mission and values.
Nice To Haves
- BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred.
