About The Position

The Gardner School of Weymouth is seeking passionate and professional Lead Infant & Preschool Teachers to join their team in a state-of-the-art facility. This role involves leading and inspiring a classroom with creativity, care, and excellence, mentoring assistant teachers, building relationships with families and children, planning engaging lessons, and maintaining a safe and joyful classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or related degree and 9+ months of previous experience working with children (preferred), or High School diploma with EEC Certification and 36+ months of previous experience working with children.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • 1+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead experience preferred)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
  • Active engagement throughout the day including standing, sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting up to ~60 lbs.
  • Ability to fulfill cognitive and interpersonal aspects of a classroom leadership including speaking, hearing, reading, writing, focusing attention, and building relationships
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
