About The Position

In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.

Requirements

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in semiconductor, EV battery, or data centers preferred.
  • Hands-on implementation of AWP and OSM strategies; experience with project setup, system turnover, and completion preferred.
  • Proficiency with digital execution tools, 4D/5D planning, and analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
  • Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
  • Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
  • Participates in the development of contract, subcontract, or vendor scopes of work, budgets, contract formation, and negotiations.
  • Determines workforce requirements.
  • Coordinates established area operational plans.
  • Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas and clients’ resident representatives, as instructed by construction management.
  • Supervises the development of construction drawings and sketches.
  • Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
  • Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
  • Ensures the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
  • Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
  • Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
  • Oversees the preparation of testing processes and required test equipment
  • Owns indirects strategy and integration—deep knowledge of temporary facilities, utilities, access, logistics, cranes, laydown, traffic, and site services aligned to the overall execution plan.
  • Plans and sequences across the project—integrates indirects into master schedule, AWP, and area plans; anticipates phase changes and prevents indirects from becoming critical-path constraints.
  • Leads and coordinates multiple indirects teams—sets standards, assigns scope, balances resources, and holds area indirects superintendents accountable.
  • Controls cost, risk, and performance—understands indirect cost drivers, equipment utilization, and productivity; makes tradeoffs early to protect schedule and budget.
  • Primary interface to project leadership—communicates readiness, risks, and decisions clearly to construction management, engineering, safety, and the client.
