About The Position

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lead In-House Specialist! This position provides day-to-day direction and manages the workflow of the team within the set-up center to ensure deadlines are met. The Lead In-House Specialist also provides feedback to management regarding the employment and performance of In-House tech staff. They ensure the team has the necessary parts inventory and tools to efficiently complete work. This role may also assist in the set-up, service, and refurbishing of all models when necessary and inspects units upon completion to ensure quality standards are met. The position requires the operation of a motor vehicle and a valid driver's license. The Lead In-House Specialist establishes an up-to-date file of service manuals, part books, and other service literature using the issued laptop and develops familiarity with their contents. They must maintain proper territory management, maintain their tool kit, supplies, and accurate inventory for their assigned territory, and maintain the minimum call per day average. Effective relationships with customers and fellow employees are crucial. The role provides sales support as required, such as advising sales on problems with accounts or identifying service leads. Accurate and timely completion of invoices and expense reports is also required. The Lead In-House Specialist must follow the policies and procedures set forth by Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.

Requirements

  • Depth and breadth of knowledge allows this position to provide assistance on complex or unusual problems to in-house and field technicians
  • Typical Number of Models Serviced: Current product line and legacy products.
  • Responsibility: Leads the workflow for three (3) to five (5) employees in the BSC. Responsibilities include assigning tasks and assessing skills of those in set-up center. Provides feedback to management with regard to hiring, terminating, and performance management when a Supervisor does not exist.
