About The Position

The Lead IC Applications Engineer evaluates prototype silicon through hands-on electro-optical measurements and automates RF/mmwave wafer-probing and measurement equipment. The role develops product collateral, including datasheets, evaluation boards, and evaluation software; provides pre- and post-sale technical support to internal and external customers; contributes to new product definitions; and collaborates with cross-functional teams on advanced developments. The position is based in an on-site engineering lab, with a hybrid schedule available depending on work activities. Some work takes place in an IC characterization lab. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and involves carrying out multiple projects at a time. Employees must follow site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards. Depending on location, the position may also be responsible for executing and maintaining applicable quality and environmental management standards, including ISO 9000, 9001, and 14001. The role requires adherence to the company's ICARE values: Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Enthusiasm.
