About The Position

Paragon is seeking a Lead I&C Technician to join our Fort Worth, Texas team! This role involves performing builds and repairs independently, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic components. The Lead I&C Technician will also be responsible for designing and implementing test setups, performing failure analysis, and ensuring lab supplies are maintained. Additionally, this position involves mentoring new technicians, participating in interviews, assisting with project delegation, and leading morning LDM meetings.

Requirements

• Has time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train and mentor new technicians
• Proficient in basic computer skills (file organization, email, etc.)
• Able to communicate effectively across all functions of the organization
• A high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly
• Adhering to a strict quality control program (NQA1)
• Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electronic components
• Design, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirements
• Perform failure analysis of various components
• Perform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components
• Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks
• Additional duties and tasks assigned by management
• Being present, in the moment with a questioning attitude while being persistent with finding solutions

Responsibilities

• Perform builds and repairs independently, familiar with the tools, MTE and equipment to be employed and shall have demonstrated proficiency in their use
• Perform component level repairs
• Demonstrate capabilities in basic fabrication techniques including resistance testing, cabling, and skills with manufacturing tools
• Perform repairs on circuit boards
• Ensure that lab supplies are maintained and on hand
• Take part in interviews for the I&C Lab
• Assist in project delegation based on schedule and skill set
• Lead the morning LDM meetings
