About The Position

HVAC Service Technician (Senior / Lead Level) Location: Corpus Christi, TX Pay: Competitive pay based on experience Type: Full time permanent employment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • High school diploma or GED required (technical degree preferred)
  • Required licenses, registrations, and certifications applicable to the role
  • Strong ability to work independently while leading others in the field
  • Split systems (up to 120 tons)
  • Mini-split and multi-zone systems (including VRV/VRF heat pump & heat recovery)
  • Rooftop units (all brands, 150+ tons)
  • Water-source heat pumps (up to 120 tons)
  • Self-contained and CRAC systems (Liebert, Data-Aire, Stulz)
  • Advanced chilled water systems (air-cooled and water-cooled chillers)
  • Scroll, reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal compressors
  • Strong working knowledge of building automation systems and OEM software tools
  • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and blueprints
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
  • High ethical standards and customer-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working autonomously and making sound technical judgments
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior technicians

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain advanced and complex commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform troubleshooting, disassembly, reassembly, and planned maintenance on large-scale equipment
  • Coordinate and execute work on service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls
  • Act as a front-line technical leader, providing guidance, training, and support to other technicians
  • Coordinate subcontractors and assist with workflow planning on larger projects
  • Communicate clearly with customers, explain work performed, and build long-term client relationships
  • Purchase materials and manage parts and inventory on service vehicles
  • Document job progress and communicate status to internal stakeholders
  • Use mobile/app-based service and reporting software
  • Follow all safety policies and operate company vehicles in compliance with fleet requirements
