About The Position

Total Comfort, part of the ARS family of HVAC professionals, is seeking a Lead HVAC Install Technician. ARS is the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services with over 7,000 team members and 45 years of experience. This is a full-time, year-round position with multiple day/shift options available. The role involves disassembling and removing outdated HVAC systems, then installing, starting up, and troubleshooting new residential HVAC systems. The Lead Technician will lead each install with the support of an assigned helper, operating with professionalism, precision, and efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Comfortable leading installs with a helper assigned
• Working knowledge of local inspection codes
• EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and access attics/crawlspaces
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and remove outdated HVAC systems
• Install, start up, and troubleshoot new residential HVAC systems
• Lead each install with the support of an assigned helper
• Operate with professionalism, precision, and efficiency
