About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC/Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks, including performing maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. The engineer will ensure facility and building systems are kept up to applicable standards, follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety, and maintain an energy management program to ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life, performing emergency repairs as needed, and reviewing building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client. The position requires applying in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions, as well as mentoring others and sharing in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
  • Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
  • Follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
