Human Resources announces an opening for (1.0) Lead Human Resource Assistant This is a full-time, in-person, Grade G-10 position located in the Department of Human Resources. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Under general direction of a designated Department of Human Resources (HR) supervisor, the Lead Human Resources Assistant performs team lead/senior para-professional, and general/administrative human resources support and/or leadership duties in one or more areas of the Department of Human Resources. SUPERVISION Work is performed under the direction and supervision of a designated HR supervisor to include a Director, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Division Supervisor, or Customer Service Coordinator. Work is reviewed in terms of quality, quantity, customer service ,and professionalism. This position will assume team-lead supervision of subordinate HR staff and personnel to include Human Resources Assistants. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This class specification is a single-position class series distinguished by the senior level of discretion and responsibilities in assisting HR staff and supervisors with HR related tasks and functions. The Lead Human Resources Assistant is differentiated from the Human Resources Assistant in levels of education, experience, and HR management functions.
