About The Position

As a Houseperson on the Lodge & Inn team, you'll work to support the housekeeping efforts at the Lodge and Inn at Suncadia with additional support for Suncadia Condos. With a get-it-done attitude, you'll respond to calls for assistance from the homes housekeeping teams, as well as calls from resort leadership and the front desk. With a passion for guest service, you'll promptly handle calls from our guests staying in the Lodge, Inn, or Condos. As a houseperson, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our guests experience the beauty of Suncadia while enjoying the comfort and cleanliness of their accommodations. Suncadia is a premier all-season resort, tucked away on the sunny slopes of the Cascade mountains and offers guests three distinctive choices in hotel, Inn and private home accommodations. Requirements

Prior housekeeping or housekeeping support experience required
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License
Must have conversational English skills (read, write and speak)
Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for working all scheduled shifts
Assist Housekeeping Leadership with oversight of daily Houseperson operations and workflow
Monitor, inspect, and verify completion of Houseperson assignments and responsibilities throughout the shift
Ensure Housepersons maintain cleanliness standards for hallways, storage closets, service areas, and immediate grounds
Provide direction, coaching, training, and support to Houseperson team members as needed
Assist with assigning and prioritizing daily duties based on operational business needs
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping Leadership regarding productivity concerns, maintenance issues, supply shortages, and team performance
Respond promptly to room attendant, leadership, front desk, dispatch, and guest service calls
Work independently following instructions as provided
Keep accurate and legible records of daily work requirements
Work at a rapid pace throughout the day completing assignments as scheduled
Ensure the safe keeping of Guest’s Personal Property while working within lodging units by showing Integrity and Honesty at all times
Ensure cleanliness of halls and immediate grounds
Stock closets and other assigned areas in an effective, on-going manner
Maintain effective organization, layout, cleanliness, security, upkeep, and maintenance of all storage closets and facilities
Other tasks may be assigned in other areas including: Condos, Health and Fitness Centers, Recreational facilities, Public Spaces, Spa and freestanding homes throughout Suncadia Resort
