The Lead Host maintains consistent attention to the Restaurant entrance, welcoming all guests with a smile and appropriate greeting. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating with other hosts, and training new hosts. The Lead Host assists with preparations and execution for VIP reservations and works with management on special events. They escort guests to their tables, present menus, and communicate with wait staff and other restaurant personnel to ensure a high-quality guest experience. Duties also include refilling beverages, setting tables, cleaning eating/serving areas, rolling silverware, expediting food orders, preparing food for To-go areas, and properly cleaning and filling table condiments. Additionally, the Lead Host assists with guest inquiries, follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reports maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
