As part of a national franchise system with more than 120 locations across the country, TruBlue combines the resources and support of an established brand with the personal service of a local business. We specialize in helping seniors age safely and independently in their homes, while also providing dependable home maintenance and repair services for busy families and homeowners who simply want their homes taken care of the right way. We're looking for an experienced Lead Home Service Technician / Handyman who is ready to take the next step in their career — someone who can lead by example, mentor other technicians, communicate confidently with customers, and take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on home repair, remodeling, or construction experience
  • Strong carpentry and general home repair skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • The ability to work independently while also supporting a team
  • A professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Pride in doing the job right — and doing right by your customers and teammates
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A complete set of professional tools
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing, training, or mentoring other technicians preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality home maintenance, repair, and remodeling projects
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro® technicians
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to less-experienced technicians
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with customers and help manage expectations on-site
  • Identify problems and develop practical solutions
  • Maintain TruBlue's high standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer service
  • Help ensure jobsites are clean, organized, and treated with respect
  • Represent TruBlue professionally in customers' homes and throughout the community
