About The Position

Provide friendly, efficient, Four Diamond Standard service to guests. Oversee slot floor operations. Properly implements all Title 31 procedures and safeguards the Company’s assets. The Lead GSA assists in paying jackpots, performing minor machine repairs, Reward card sign-ups, and performing exchanges of cash and cash equivalents. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
  • Must have one (1) year minimum slot experience.
  • Must be a certified Job Coach or have previous step-up Lead GSA experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach and develop subordinates.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license with the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Must have a working understanding of Title 31 requirements.
  • Understand and practice Four Diamond Service standards and The Seven Grandfather Teachings.
  • Basic math and money-handling skills.
  • Ability to handle Guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner while demonstrating sound judgment and mature decision-making.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Practicing, supporting, and always promoting AAA Four Diamond and Gun Lake Casino Resort’s standards.
  • Comply with signatory controls, including jackpot / fill vouchers, check-in / out sheet, key control, and other forms associated with daily duties.
  • Follow all Responsible Gaming Guidelines.
  • Inform shift management of any illegal gaming devices or activity.
  • Capable of counting down, checking in / out, and maintaining accountability of a slot booth or bank.
  • Effectively and efficiently complete transactions for guests while maintaining Title 31 requirements.
  • Follow all procedures and policies to ensure that duties are performed within accepted standards established by Casino Management and Regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during a shift.
  • Handle guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner.
  • Keep work areas and casino floor neat, clean, and safe.
  • Understand and be aware of the Rewards Program to sign guests up and champion the benefits of the program.
  • Be aware of all current and upcoming events and promotions.
  • Enforces Slot department policies and provides constructive feedback to Slot Department management regarding necessary changes and improvements.
  • Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Monitor performance and lead Guest Service Ambassadors in day-to-day operations.
  • Train, guide, and provide feedback to new Team Members.
  • Comply with signatory controls, including Jackpot/Fill tickets and other forms associated with daily duties.
  • Efficiently process all requests for overrides on jackpots and fills.
  • Be able to complete guest requests for benefits, such as comps.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
