Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering (Masters or PhD preferred).
12+ years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering and project leadership.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia (or eligibility for registration).
Demonstrated success in client engagement, business development, and revenue growth
Technical knowledge of geotechnical engineering, including: design of deep foundations, shallow foundations, evaluating slope stability, earthquake engineering, retaining wall design, earth retention, settlement of compressible soils, ground improvement techniques, support of excavation, dewatering etc.
Valid BC driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical design and analysis for major infrastructure projects, including transportation, energy, civil infrastructure, and urban development.
Deliver advanced soil-structure interaction studies and foundation engineering solutions that ensure safety and resilience.
Collaborate with project managers, inter-disciplinary teams, and clients to develop strategies that meet technical, environmental, and financial objectives.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Drive innovation in geotechnical practices, integrating cutting-edge technologies and sustainability principles into project delivery.
