About The Position

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a Full Time Lead Generator / In Home Design Consultant for its Regina Branch. FLOFORM is a Canadian company with a significant presence in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, manufacturing, selling, and installing over 20,000 premium surface countertops annually. The Lead Generator will staff traveling displays, collect data from potential clients, and provide product information. The In-Home Design Consultant will ensure a positive customer experience by educating clients, providing first-class service in their homes, adhering to a structured sales process, and assisting with product selection. This role involves responding to customer inquiries and may require showroom assistance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with an eye for design or fashion
  • 1-2 Years Sales or direct Kitchen & Bath sales
  • Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programs
  • Ability to solve problems as they arise
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate mathematical skills, with a solid understanding of fractions and measurements
  • Effective selling/follow up skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage time and goals independently
  • Able to lift 50lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and a clear criminal record check
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Available Evening and Weekend hours

Responsibilities

  • Initiates customer contact and qualifies leads for In Home Sales Consultants.
  • Maintains in-store kiosks/displays and runs on-site information sessions.
  • Assists with set up and tear down of displays.
  • Engages customers by hosting booths in big box store kiosks.
  • Presents customers with brochures and show samples.
  • Adheres to the FLOFORM In Home Process for sales.
  • Completes a minimum of 10 in home sales consultations per week, with 5 during prime-time hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Maintains a weekly Closing ratio of >40%.
  • Presents and maintains inspection videos on all Demo’s performed.
  • Acquires 24 references during the training period and maintains a minimum of 1 reference per week thereafter.
  • Regularly attends required training meetings.
  • Processes orders and accepts payment from customers.
  • Inputs orders/quotes for production.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating activities with other departments as necessary.
  • Escalates complaints to supervisor as required.
  • Takes measurements for customer requirements.
  • Assists customers in product selection.
  • Maintains customer service records.
  • Establishes proactive communication with customers.
  • Handles quality and service issues.
  • Ensures orders are priced accurately and invoices are issued promptly.
  • Resolves pricing/invoicing/credit/payment/shipping discrepancies.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to network and build relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
