Lead Freight Logistics Coordinator
About The Position
This role is an opportunity for an associate's next step towards management. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of receiving/unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working independently or in teams with minimal supervision. The position requires a high level of interaction with customers' staff and outside delivery personnel, emphasizing a positive and friendly demeanor. You will be responsible for overseeing a specific area within the work environment to ensure a consistent workflow and meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
Requirements
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and very physical environment
- Lift and carry 25-75lbs
- Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
