About The Position

Ensures a pleasant experience for all food service customers by promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, greeting all customers upon arrival and treating them as the top priority. Assist with on-the-job food service training of new associates; serve as a mentor for other food service associates and lead by example. Place all product orders with vendors; ensure that food service items are received, code dated, and rotated in accordance with established standards and procedures. Cook food using a variety of equipment such as ovens, fryers and slicers.

Requirements

At least one year of food service experience, preferably in a convenience store setting
Must be ServSafe certified
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, count money and recognize discrepancies
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50 pounds
