About The Position
Confires Fire Services, an affiliated company of Guardian Fire Protection, is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician. This role involves servicing, inspecting, and repairing Fire Alarm Systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience.
- Valid Driver's License with 3 or less points.
- Ability to be available on-call when scheduled.
- Excellent attendance and provides excellent communication and customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- NICET certificate (preferred but not required).
- Experience performing special hazard suppression system inspection and repair (a plus but not required).
Responsibilities
- Testing and inspecting fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
- Responding to service requests, diagnosing system malfunctions of fire alarms, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment as needed to bring systems into compliance.
- Performing fire alarm system testing and inspection per NFPA and local code standards.
- Preparing accurate and timely inspection and service reports.
