Requirements

Experience with fire alarms required
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs
Comfortable using hand tools, multi-meters, ladders (8’+), and lifts
Solid communication skills (written & verbal)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with Project Managers
Flexibility for varying shift times and participation in an on-call rotation

Responsibilities

Program, start up, troubleshoot, and commission new system installations
Install, configure, service, and repair fire alarm systems
Perform point-to-point troubleshooting across systems including: Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call & Intercom systems
Communicate project status, challenges, and timelines with project leads and clients
Support installation teams to ensure projects are completed successfully
Review project plans and contracts for accuracy prior to installation
Conduct inspections to ensure systems meet safety codes and standards
Respond to emergency service calls as needed
Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation
