About The Position

Koorsen Fire & Security is hiring a Lead Fire Alarm Installation Technician in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The role involves inspecting, installing, and servicing fire alarm systems and their components to ensure proper functionality. The technician interacts professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers, follows safety regulations and company policies, and remains open to continual learning. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The advertised pay is $45 per hour and up, depending on experience, with a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, also depending on experience. Hiring requires completion of I-9 employment verification, E-Verify screening, background checks, and a urinalysis drug test if an offer is made.

Requirements

4–8 years of experience in fire alarm installation.
Low-voltage experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass drug and background screenings.
Ability to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds and push and pull more than 75 pounds.
Ability to climb a ladder reaching at least 12 feet and/or use a man lift to perform services.
Ability to work in outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises.
Ability to talk or hear while performing job duties.
