About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join the Spectrum Superiority (S2) Sector team. The role supports financial performance management through accurate reporting, forecasting, and analytical insights. It is responsible for income statement reconciliation, P&L analysis, segment reporting deliverables, and data integrity support across key financial systems. The position is listed as remote or based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and follows a 9/80 schedule: employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of prior relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of prior related experience.
Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting processes, and variance analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Reconcile Revenue, Cost of Sales, and Operating Income within the income statement, including preparing topside adjustments, element-of-cost analysis, and disaggregation reporting.
Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and JSP forecasting by preparing, updating, and validating forecast data and related financial inputs.
Prepare P&L fluctuation reports and analyze period-over-period variances to identify business drivers and provide actionable insights.
Manage segment reporting requirements, including Business Interruption analysis, Domestic Casualty reporting, annual tax questionnaire support, End User Reporting, Investor Relations reporting, and IDWA forecast updates.
Prepare and maintain Working Capital reporting for financial performance tracking and analysis.
Support BPC data integrity through validation activities, process improvements, and system testing.
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests by gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial data.
