About The Position

The role of Finance Lead FP&A is critical to the financial success of our client. The position is responsible for supporting all financial reporting, planning, forecasting and ad hoc assignments for the company. You will work closely with local & parent company leaders to deliver reporting that will be used to steer the company towards its operational and financial targets. You will create forecasts, develop budgets, and analyze performance, ultimately helping management make informed choices. You are a critical support point for internal finance business partners & accounting. Provide governance for FP&A activities for multiple departments. You will serve as a critical support point for finance business partners and the accounting team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, or financial business partner role preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree minimum, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a fast paced environment with critical deadlines.
  • Understanding of enterprise finance and accounting process.
  • Ability to present and clearly communicate finance "language" effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent critical thinking, excel and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with ability and desire to take accountability for role

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Information Technology preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of SAP preferred but not required
  • Experience with international firms preferred.
  • Prefer IT services firms, start ups, or any environment when work focus can shift hourly/daily

Responsibilities

  • Strategic advisor to business leaders & finance business partners
  • Provide governance oversite to planning, analysis and forecast activites
  • Lead strategic planning of Support Functions & OH
  • Coordinate with Finance Business Partners and drive cross functional initiatives
  • Interfaces directly with executives
  • Manage KPIs and financial controls
  • Leader and mentor junior FP&A and Finance Business Partners
  • Owner of multiple areas
  • Perform financial modeling
  • Meet deadlines for financial reporting, management and budget planning cycles
  • Bring financial deviations to light, & report potential corrective action
  • Support all ongoing financial close activities
  • Maintain financial data structures and support or advise on future structures
  • Proactively support pricing analysis & activities
  • Provide a mindset of continuous improvement to the FP&A function
  • Financial Reporting to both local and parent/international leadership
