About The Position

Our client is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to provide strategic business partnership and financial leadership. The candidate will drive integrated FP&A management, financial modeling, and month-end close processes.

Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to distill complex financial datasets into clear, actionable executive-level insights.
• Demonstrated track record of driving cross-functional initiatives, establishing governance, and holding business leaders accountable for financial targets.
• Advanced capability in root-cause analysis, strategic planning, and financial modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive experience in corporate FP&A or finance (equivalent to Senior / Principal / Lead Financial Analyst levels).
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel and Google Sheets, including complex macro/formula usage, scenario planning, and data integration.

Nice To Haves

• Master's or certification preferred.
• Background supporting enterprise software engineering, IT infrastructure, and complex business systems organizations.
• Hands-on experience scaling BI tools and enterprise dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Domo) to automate reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, development, and refinement of operational metrics reporting across tech organizations to drive strategic decision-making and business alignment.
• Direct multi-quarter financial planning, forecasting, and actuals analysis, delivering strategic insights that optimize resource allocation.
• Proactively identify, design, and implement value-add enhancements across financial systems, forecasting workflows, and operational processes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, delivering proactive financial analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain high-level oversight of financial governance and SOX compliance.
• Review key journal entries for month end close and recommend corrective actions.
