About The Position

Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, OneStream or similar planning/reporting tools, and Power BI.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data, identify meaningful trends and drivers, and convert analysis into clear recommendations for Operations leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial concepts, performance drivers, and recommended actions to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Meticulous in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with financial guidelines and internal controls.
  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations influence decisions and drive alignment across Operations and Finance partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with business partners at all levels of the organization, including executives, while applying professional skepticism and sound financial judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting for daily tier-level discussions, providing timely insights into variance drivers and partnering with subject matter experts to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Partner with plant leadership to review manufacturing output targets and help balance capacity, cost, labor, and delivery impacts.
  • Translate complex operational and financial data into organized, decision-ready recommendations that Operations leadership can use to improve performance.
  • Analyze key variances to Budget and Outlook, research underlying drivers, and help guide strategies that enable the plant to achieve annual operating targets.
  • Lead and execute the annual budget process for the plant, connecting annual financial targets to operational cost drivers, assumptions, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support business cases for capital investments by evaluating financial impacts, operational benefits, risks, and payback considerations.
