About The Position

Ecolab's Nalco Water division is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to provide expert service and support for water treatment and filtration systems. This role involves working hands-on in the field, building customer relationships, and delivering solutions that protect resources and improve operational performance. The representative will monitor chemical usage, troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate service documentation. This position is based in Wausau, WI, covering a 100-mile radius with up to 5% overnight travel, primarily serving the Paper industries. The role offers independence in a dynamic field environment, supported by cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading training, with an opportunity to help customers meet sustainability goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
A current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
Experience in a technical service role, ideally with water filtration systems or in industrial/mechanical environments

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in chemistry, mechanical systems, or related field
Hands-on plumbing experience and familiarity with industrial equipment
Experience with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pumping systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Deliver expert service and support for water treatment and filtration systems
