About The Position

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD. Essential Functions Directs, operates, maintains, and repairs engineering systems that provide essential building services for a DoD facility. Oversees mechanical systems, HVAC and refrigeration, electrical systems, UPS systems, water treatment, roofing, steam heating, plumbing, and fire suppression/detection systems. Performs diagnostics, realâ€‘time systems management, and anomaly response to ensure proper system performance and efficiency. Directs and performs maintenance on building systems and their components. Supports engineering review board processes, including DDR, PDR, and implementation readiness reviews for minor infrastructure and discrete projects. Develops componentâ€‘level architecture and preliminary design solutions (approximately 65 percent) and progresses them to detailed design solutions (100 percent) across architectural, electrical, mechanical, security, and IT domains to support project execution.

Requirements

BA/BS; AA/AS
12 years total experience
6 years related experience
2 years in management or leadership roles
Capable of leading Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Detailed Design Review (DDR), Implementation Readiness Review (IRR), and Joint Functional Inspection (JFI) gate activities for minor infrastructure projects.
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities
