The Environmental Technician, Lead role supports the Installation Support Services (ISS2) contract at Eareckson Air Station (EAS), located in Shemya, Alaska. The Environmental Technician, Lead is a rotational position working a 3-month on and 1-month off schedule at Eareckson Air Station (EAS). While working on-site housing is provided in the form of a dormitory facility. All meals are furnished through the cafeteria. Transportation to EAS from Anchorage, AK is provided by government sponsored aircraft. This is a negotiated union position. The Environmental Technician, Lead ensures the day-to-day administration of the project's on-site environmental regulatory compliance. This position works closely with the Environmental Manager, handling daily site environmental compliance and responsible for all waste management and related functions.
