This Lead Pharmacy Technician will focus on system controlled substance compliance, drug diversion prevention, and investigation initiatives for all enterprise hospitals. The individual selected for this position will work collaboratively across departments throughout the entire health system to guide regulatory compliance across all aspects of controlled substances and diversion. This position will complete detailed investigations of events flagged for potential diversion. This position will audit official controlled substance documentation (including, but not limited to, Forms 222, 41, 106) to ensure regulatory compliance. This position may include occasional travel to DEA-registered sites across the health system.
