About The Position

The Lead Enterprise Architect, Enterprise API and Integration, leads technology transformation efforts focused on defining architecture, standards, and governance for API development across the enterprise. The role establishes and governs a comprehensive, business-aligned API ecosystem that connects providers and consumers through a unified catalog, supports effective API lifecycle management and reuse, and promotes consistency across enterprise integrations while enabling AI-driven and agentic capabilities. The architect works with architecture, engineering, security, data, and business teams to advance API standards, reusable integration patterns, platforms, and governance. The position also guides modern integration architecture, develops AI-enabled governance capabilities, defines ecosystem metrics and executive reporting, evaluates emerging technologies, and mentors architects and engineering teams. This is a remote role, with occasional travel to Humana offices potentially required for training or meetings.
