Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and guests comfortable? Key West Historic Inns is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help maintain the charm, safety, and functionality of our unique historic properties. In this role, you will support the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer in leading day-to-day maintenance operations across the property. From troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to responding to guest needs and supporting capital projects, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certifications or licenses are a plus
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software is desirable

Responsibilities
