About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Lead Chemical Processing Engineer to join our Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving process excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainability within specialty chemicals manufacturing. This role is focused on optimizing reactor-based processes, improving yields, reducing waste, and strengthening the development and governance of manufacturing master data. The engineer will partner closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar technical field or related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) of increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization serving a high technology industry.
  • Proficient with reaction/ distillation /separation processes and critical control parameters.
  • Experience with statistics and statistical software.
  • Proficiency with SAP Enterprise software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across specialty chemicals manufacturing operations.
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects aligned with site and division-level performance goals.
  • Standardize best practices and drive adoption of consistent manufacturing and operational excellence tools.
  • Develop and implement reactor optimization strategies to improve throughput, yield, energy efficiency, and cycle time.
  • Lead yield improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Lead improvement efforts related to manufacturing master data including BOMs, routings, and recipes.
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify variability drivers and implement sustainable process controls.
