About The Position

This role involves analyzing complex system requirements, making recommendations for code development or reuse, and serving as a Development Lead across multiple projects using various technologies. The position requires staying current with new technologies, gathering and documenting requirements, creating communication documentation, data flow charts, and status reports. The Lead Engineer will also be responsible for writing integrations across various platforms, participating in software system testing and validation, providing technical advice, solving programming problems, and reviewing test results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
Five (5) years in any occupation with software engineering experience.
Five (5) years in any occupation with software engineering experience must include: Azure DevOps; C#.Net Core; BMC Scheduling; Angular 11+; SQL Server / Oracle; and TFS/GIT.

Responsibilities

Analyzes complex system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
Serves as a Development Lead across multiple projects and leveraging various technologies.
May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities.
Remains current with new technologies.
Ability to gather & document requirements as well as create communication documentation data flow charts and status reports.
Strong developer with extensive experience with writing integrations across various platforms and participating in software system testing and validation procedures.
Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.
Reviews test results; documents test activities and records remedial actions.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
