About The Position

This role is for an individual who will be responsible for the health of automation and production equipment, covering setup, preventive maintenance, and precision repairs. The technologist will diagnose process issues quickly and accurately to ensure quality and throughput. Responsibilities include working within a computer-based system for work orders, PMs, documentation, and parts management. Collaboration with production and maintenance teams, knowledge sharing, and training others are key aspects. A strong emphasis is placed on championing safety and housekeeping, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to rules.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years as an industrial maintenance technician (plastics preferred).
  • Hands-on strength in mechanical and electrical maintenance, plus PLCs, VFDs, and servo motors.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting capability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Your own tools—and the skill to use them safely and effectively.
  • Outstanding communication, teamwork, planning, judgment, initiative, reliability, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and service electro-mechanical automation equipment.
  • Perform scheduled PMs and equipment setups to minimize downtime.
  • Leverage a computer-based inventory system to locate spares and generate needed reports.
  • Address utilities and facilities equipment issues when needed.
  • Deliver quality results within established time standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams; share knowledge and help train others.
  • Champion safety and housekeeping—PPE on, rules followed, area spotless.
