The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking a licensed general supervising electrician for a meaningful role that contributes to the safety and reliability of Oregon's transportation system. This position, at the Electrician 3 level, involves performing electrical work, overseeing and mentoring other electricians, signing off on completed jobs, obtaining necessary permits, and assisting in the planning and delivery of electrical projects. The role also includes troubleshooting complex technical issues, recommending materials and equipment, and supporting team development. The position is part of a regional ODOT maintenance crew responsible for maintaining the highway system across Coos, Douglas, and portions of Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath counties. ODOT's mission is to provide a safe and efficient transportation system for all Oregonians, and this role directly supports that mission. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for an Electrician 2 may be considered for underfill, with training provided for up to three years to reach Electrician 3 qualifications. The first application screening is scheduled for August 24, 2026.
