Lead Electrician - Great Bear, Red Lake ON
About The Position
Redpath Canada Limited is seeking experienced underground Lead Electricians for the Great Bear project in Red Lake, ON. This role involves installing, wiring, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment in both surface and underground areas. The Lead Electrician will also work with PLC and communication systems, including mobile equipment, generators, compressors, drills, and small tools. A key part of the role is providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced electricians and coordinating activities with the Mine Development team. Requirements
- Extensive experience as an underground Lead Electrician.
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, maintain & perform preventive maintenance and repairs to electric equipment in surface and underground areas.
- Work with PLC and communication systems.
- Work with mobile equipment, generators, compressors, drills, small tools and miscellaneous equipment.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced electricians.
- Coordinate activities closely with the Mine Development team.
