About The Position
Hoekstra Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join their Industrial and Commercial Service team. This role involves leading a small crew and requires a strong understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Industrial/Commercial service experience
- Experience with equipment power and data drops
- Control wiring and troubleshooting skills
- VFD configuration and troubleshooting experience
- High attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lead a crew of 2–3 team members
- Ability to review and interpret electrical plans
- A valid driver’s license and insurability
- Willingness to train and mentor the right candidate
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of 2-3 team members.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Perform industrial and commercial service work.
- Handle equipment power and data drops.
- Perform control wiring and troubleshooting.
- Configure and troubleshoot VFDs.
- Review and interpret electrical plans.
