Sargent & Lundy•Remote,
•$118,023 - $180,313

About The Position

Lead an electrical engineering group on nuclear power projects, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical engineering issues in support of single- and multidisciplinary projects. The role leads detailed design work and coordinates interfaces with other disciplines, ensuring project deliverables meet technical, quality, financial, and project-controls expectations. It also involves developing scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants; providing technical oversight for design changes, calculations, equipment specifications, and vendor reviews; and working directly with clients. The position includes mentoring group members and identifying opportunities for follow-on client work. Sargent & Lundy’s Nuclear Power Group works on nuclear engineering, design, and licensing, including small modular reactors, advanced reactor technology, reactor restart projects, existing-plant life extensions and digital modernization, coal-to-nuclear conversions, and international nuclear new-build projects. The company describes its work as supporting clean, carbon-free energy and reducing emissions.
