About The Position

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is hiring Lead Early Childhood Teachers for our 2.5–3-year-old classrooms. This is such an exciting developmental stage: children are building independence, developing rapidly expanding language skills, learning how to navigate friendships, and becoming increasingly curious about the world around them. We're looking for experienced educators who can turn that curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
High School Diploma/GED plus at least 5 years of relevant early childhood experience
Previous experience working with toddlers, older toddlers, or preschool-age children is strongly preferred.
Lead classroom experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a classroom of children approximately 2.5–3 years old
Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Plan hands-on activities that encourage language, creativity, movement, and early academic skills
Support independence, self-help skills, and social-emotional development
Establish consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
Observe developmental progress and support individual milestones
Partner with families and provide regular classroom communication
Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers
Maintain required documentation and classroom safety standards
Follow applicable New York City childcare requirements
