The Lead Dyno Engineer owns the readiness, calibration, and data integrity of our chassis and hub-coupled dynamometer lab supporting EV development and certification testing. This role is accountable for compliance with SAE J1634 (EV energy consumption/range), SAE J2263/J2264 (coastdown and road load), EU WLTP for battery electric vehicles, and ISO17025 accreditation. You'll build and manage a full lab system — from test request through execution to data delivery — while driving thermal, range, and energy consumption development testing.

Requirements

  • Readiness, calibration, and data integrity of chassis and hub-coupled dynamometer lab.
  • Compliance with SAE J1634 (EV energy consumption/range).
  • Compliance with SAE J2263/J2264 (coastdown and road load).
  • Compliance with EU WLTP for battery electric vehicles.
  • Compliance with ISO17025 accreditation.
  • Ability to build and manage a full lab system.
  • Experience driving thermal, range, and energy consumption development testing.
