About The Position

Dragonfly Health is hiring a Lead Durable Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to support the delivery and management of durable medical equipment for hospice and post-acute patients. The role includes overseeing and assigning delivery orders, reviewing routes and making adjustments to meet time constraints, supporting equipment inventory processes, and helping onboard, train, and coach team members. The position contributes to safe, timely delivery and reliable equipment function, helping provide patient-focused care.

Requirements

• Proven experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Durable Medical Equipment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to coach or lead a team.
• Ability to provide empathetic, patient-focused service and support.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and efficiently.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three consecutive years of driving history with no major moving violations or accidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular counts of equipment associated with orders and returns to support inventory management.
• Receive the daily site schedule and review route mapping.
• Modify routes as needed to meet time constraints.
• Assign delivery orders to DME Technicians.
• Receive the daily route and complete timely delivery of requested hospice equipment.
• Support leadership with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Assist with ongoing training of existing employees through education, training, and coaching.
