About The Position

Dragonfly Health is hiring a Lead Durable Medical Equipment Delivery Driver in Topeka, Kansas. The role supports inventory management, delivery scheduling and route coordination, and the assignment and timely delivery of hospice equipment. The position also helps onboard, orient, train, and coach team members. It is important to ensuring patients receive reliable, properly maintained medical equipment and empathetic, patient-focused service.

Requirements

• Proven experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Durable Medical Equipment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and lead a team.
• Ability to provide empathetic, patient-focused service and support.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and efficiently.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three consecutive years of driving history with no major moving violations or accidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular counts of equipment associated with orders and returns to support inventory management.
• Receive the daily site schedule and review route mapping; modify routes as needed to meet time constraints.
• Assign orders to DME Technicians for delivery.
• Receive and complete the daily route to deliver requested hospice equipment on time.
• Support leadership with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Educate, train, and coach existing employees as part of ongoing training.
