As a Lead Direct Support Professional (Lead DSP), you will play an essential role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while serving as a mentor and resource to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This position combines direct care responsibilities with leadership duties to help ensure high-quality services, a positive home environment, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Lead DSP works closely with the Residential Service Director (RSD), Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), nursing staff, and other team members to support daily operations, promote person-centered services, and ensure the needs of the individuals served are met. This position may require a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
