About The Position

The Lead Driver Trainer is part of the Safety Department and reports directly to the Senior Safety Director. This role coordinates driver training and recertification, supervises driver trainers, recommends driver policies, and assists with interviewing and onboarding.

Requirements

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Possession of a Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsements.
• A safe driving record and 3–5 years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new bus drivers for training.
• Supervise driver trainers.
• Perform recertifications and lead the recertification process for current drivers.
• Recommend driver policies.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding processes.
