About The Position

The Fullington Auto Bus Company is hiring a Lead Driver Trainer as part of its Safety Department. The role coordinates training for new bus drivers, supervises driver trainers, and leads recertification activities for current drivers. The Lead Driver Trainer also recommends driver policies and assists with interviewing and onboarding. This position reports directly to the Senior Safety Director.

Requirements

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Possess a Class A or Class B CDL with passenger endorsements.
• Have a safe driving record and 3–5 years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new bus drivers for training.
• Supervise driver trainers.
• Perform recertifications and lead the recertification process for current drivers.
• Recommend driver policies.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding processes.
