About The Position

Mains’l Services is seeking a Medical Lead in their Hastings, MN location. As the medical lead, you will coordinate, document, and implement medical supports to help the individual served access quality care and live a healthy, meaningful life. The role will also assist in coaching and mentoring Mains’l staff. At this location, you will be supporting a gentleman in his 20s who enjoys staying physically active, including swimming, music, exploring his community, and being out and about. Schedule, structure, and communication are important to him. Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered supports tailored to the individual needs (including activities of daily living, behavioral supports, coaching through different situations, participating in activities)
  • Coaching and collaboration with the team
  • Documenting care accurately to ensure ongoing support
  • Maintain a safe and structured environment
  • Assist with coaching and training of Direct Support Professionals
  • Support individuals in learning new skills based on their interests and preferences
  • Coordinate, schedule and accompany individuals to medical appointments
  • Review medical referrals, completing follow-ups and communicate medical updates
  • Create weekly menus and grocery shopping
