About The Position
CTF Illinois is seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support and guidance as an experienced DSP. The role helps people with developmental disabilities live the lives they choose by ensuring their Personal Plans are implemented and their choices are offered and respected. In the home, the Lead DSP assists with daily living skills, including medication administration, meal preparation and cooking, dressing, hygiene, and keeping the home clean. In the community, the Lead DSP encourages participation in events, clubs, and shows, and supports visits to local establishments such as restaurants and shops. The position is full-time, with a set Monday–Friday schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and no weekends. The listed salary range is $20.55–$22.80 per hour; Lead DSPs earn $22.80 per hour after training is complete. Travel is negligible. Paid training and required certifications are provided.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Accredited high school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of criminal, DCFS, and MVR background checks.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Certified DSP with at least one year of experience.
