About The Position

FastBridge Fiber is seeking a Producing Lead – Direct Sales Associate to be both a leader and a top-performing field sales professional. This role involves working side-by-side with the sales team, actively engaging residents in the field (door-to-door), educating them on the benefits of fiber internet, and helping them get connected. In addition to personal sales responsibilities, the associate will assist in leading the team by coaching, motivating, and setting the pace and standards for success in their region. This is a hands-on, field-based role where leadership and sales skills will directly contribute to market growth.

Requirements

  • No sales experience required but must be highly motivated to earn money and have a great attitude!
  • An active listener with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven history of excellent customer service values and commitment.
  • Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently.
  • Superior time management skills to hit sales targets within specific periods.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to gracefully handle rejection and counter objections in a consultative manner.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Event participation is required.
  • Neat personal appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods while meeting and talking to potential customers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Actively generate new customer sign-ups through canvassing (door-to-door) using a consultative sales strategy, including distributing marketing materials.
  • Serve as an in-field leader and example-setter by consistently hitting sales goals.
  • Assist in leading and motivating a team of Direct Sales Associates, supporting their development, providing coaching, and helping manage daily operations.
  • Represent the FastBridge Fiber brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Deliver clear, compelling pitches about fiber service, pricing plans, and benefits.
  • Drive grassroots engagement by building rapport within the community and identifying local opportunities for outreach and events.
  • Participate in local community events, pop-up events, guerrilla marketing tactics, and marketing programs.
  • Help onboard and mentor new team members.
  • Provide feedback to management on team performance, local challenges, and customer needs.
  • Train new Direct Sales Associates.
  • Interview Direct Sales Associate Candidates.
  • Mentor team members.
  • Assist Director of Revenue with assigned tasks.
  • Engage with prospective customers face-to-face, including canvassing and distributing marketing materials.
  • Be a proud advocate of the company and exude the FastBridge brand.
  • Explain the differences between FastBridge Fiber and the competition.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gain insights.
  • Be proactive in following up on all leads.
  • Monitor competition in the area to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
